Super gassed to confirm that The City of Edinburgh Council and Underbelly have returned as official partners for 2026. 2025
It started with a simple concept and it became a movement.
I asked others to create it, I would help distribute it but they weren’t interested, so I did it myself.
2025, With Spice was born, the first ever pocket sized guidebook to Global Majority shows at Edinburgh Fringe. Created using through an open call alongside other resources (check the credits in the book and the press release for that year).
The response was extraordinary. Featured in the BBC, The Stage, Eastern Eye and Broadway World. Winner of the ISH Edinburgh Comedy Rhod Gilbert Panel Prize for Services to the Fringe. The 2025 edition is now a collector’s item.
Artists got emotional, audiences were excited and industry endorsed it.
Subsequently archived by the National Library of Scotland as a permanent record of Global Majority artists at the Fringe and more organisations are asking for it.
